Manly Surf School runs surf lessons every day of the year at Manly Beach, Long Reef and Palm Beach. Kids' group lessons are for beginner surfers aged 5 to 14, grouped by age, with a surfboard and wetsuit supplied; lesson times are set around tide and ocean conditions, and adult group lessons run at the same time so parents can surf too. In the school holidays the school runs 4-day courses for kids (including winter), with Learn to Surf and Intermediate levels plus advanced and elite programs. During school terms it runs 8-week after-school programs at the same levels. The Manly Beach meeting point is at North Steyne Surf Lifesaving Club, opposite Pine Street. Kids' birthday parties are also offered.
