Maroubra Surf Life Saving Club

Surf life saving club at Maroubra Beach. Its Nippers program is for children aged 5 to 13 and runs on Sundays at Maroubra Beach over summer; the 2026-27 season runs from 18 October to 13 December 2026 and from 17 January to 21 March 2027. Nippers develop surf awareness, water confidence, lifesaving skills, fitness, teamwork and leadership, and are encouraged to take part in surf sports. In Under 14, members enter the Cadet Program and work towards the Surf Rescue Certificate, leading to lifesaving and patrol roles. Registration is through the SLS Members Hub, with proof of age emailed to the club.
