National park about 120km south-west of Darwin with waterfalls, swimming holes, walks and camping; NT Parks Visitor Pass needed for visitors.

Litchfield National Park covers about 1,500 square kilometres, roughly 120km south-west of Darwin, reached from Cox Peninsula Road or through Batchelor. The NT Government describes waterfalls flowing into clear pools, magnetic termite mounds and weathered sandstone pillars. Swimming is listed at Buley Rockhole (a series of shallow and deep holes), Florence Falls, Wangi Falls (a large plunge pool with shady grassed areas), Walker Creek, Cascades and some 4WD-only spots; swimming is not allowed at Greenant Creek, Tolmer Falls or the Lost City. Florence Falls and Wangi Falls have toilets, showers, barbecues and disabled access, and Wangi Falls also has food and coffee. Tolmer Falls has an accessible path to viewing decks. Campgrounds are available, and some sites need a 4WD. Visitors to the NT need an NT Parks Visitor Pass; pass prices are on the NT Government website.
