Free Charles Darwin University art gallery at 54 Cavenagh St, Darwin City, open Wednesday to Saturday; school group visits can be booked.

Midpul Art Gallery is Charles Darwin University's public art gallery, on Level 1 of the Danala Education and Community Precinct at 54 Cavenagh Street, Darwin City. It presents changing exhibitions drawn from the CDU Art Collection of more than 3,500 artworks, including printmaking, painting, ceramics, fibre, textiles and sculpture, with a focus on the art and cultures of the Northern Territory and its Asia Pacific neighbours. Admission is free and all are welcome. Opening hours are Wednesday to Friday 10am to 4pm and Saturday 10am to 1pm, as of October 2026, with temporary closures during exhibition changeovers and over the December/January university closure. School and community groups can book a visit by emailing [email protected] or phoning 08 8946 6621. The building has ramp access at all entrances. City of Darwin parking applies around the precinct.
