Floreat Surf Life Saving Club volunteers patrol the beach on weekends during the October to March patrol season. Floreat Surf Life Saving Club, with more than 800 members aged 5 to 70, patrols the beach and runs Nippers. The lawned parkland above the beach has picnic and barbecue areas, a large nature playground, a cafe/kiosk and beach volleyball courts, plus public toilets, a drinking fountain, shelters, lighting, parking and accessible parking.
