Located along The Esplanade in Miami, at the beach end of Kelly Avenue. The playground is sand-based and covered by shade sails. For those who venture north, up the steep hill, Mick Schamburg Park offers breathtaking views of the coastline. Off-street parking bays are available along the The Esplanade. Onsite parking is at the North Burleigh Surf Lifesaving Club carpark. Disabled parking is in North Burleigh Surf Lifesaving Club car park. Park facilities are accessible via the connecting pathways. Both public amenities buildings have disabled toilets – the one at the southern end includes a unisex change room. Within a short walk are Nectar Espresso (about 221 m), Zarraffa's Coffee (about 231 m) and Dharma Juice & Coffee Bar (about 252 m).
