Free children's gallery above the Dunstan Playhouse foyer at Adelaide Festival Centre; Fire Horse tile-painting exhibition runs to 29 November 2026.

Artspace is a gallery at Adelaide Festival Centre, located above the Dunstan Playhouse foyer. It presents exhibitions in which South Australian artists work with children and young people to create new artworks, and it runs workshops in schools, in the gallery and with partner organisations. As of October 2026 the exhibition is Fire Horse by Jake Yang, open from 9 October to 29 November 2026 with free admission. It is an installation of more than 600 handmade ceramic tiles that grows as children paint their own tile in artist-led workshops. Public workshops run on selected Saturdays (17 and 31 October and 21 November 2026) at 11am and 1pm, last one hour, and are recommended for ages 7 to 14 with adult supervision; tickets are booked through the Festival Centre website. The venue is wheelchair accessible.
