Pottering Around is a pottery studio and café at 43 First Ave, Semaphore Park, open to people of any age. Visitors can paint their own ceramics, hand-build with clay, or take a guided pottery wheel session. Painted figurines cost $10 to $20 and mugs $22 to $40, including firing and glazing. Clay hand building starts at $25 per person, plus $10 per piece for firing. The 60 to 90-minute wheel session costs $59 per person ($69 with firing), with up to six people per instructor; the studio recommends it for children over 7. As of October 2026, the studio is open Wednesday 9am to 1pm, Thursday and Friday 9am to 4.30pm, Saturday 10am to 3pm and Sunday 10am to 2pm.
