Castledare Miniature Railway is a not-for-profit club and registered charity in Wilson that builds and runs miniature trains and operates them for the public twice a month. Rides run from Niana Station, Castledare Place (off Fern Road), on the 1st Sunday of each month, and from Wilson Park Station, Kent Street Weir Park, on the 3rd Sunday, both from 10am to 2pm with the last train at 1:45pm, as of October 2026. Tickets for run days are sold only online through TryBooking, linked from the railway's website. Prices are not published on the website. Adults and carers supporting children in foster care or living with disability receive complimentary tickets; they buy tickets only for the children and bring their foster or companion card to the ticket box.
