Bruny Island Ferry (Kettering to Roberts Point)

The vehicle and passenger ferry to Bruny Island leaves from Kettering, about 40 minutes south of Hobart, for a 20-minute crossing to Roberts Point. It runs on a queueing system: tickets are for the next available ferry, can be pre-purchased or bought on arrival at the Kettering terminal, and all fares are return fares. All passengers, including the driver, travel free; you pay for the vehicle, from $58.60 return for a visitor car in the regular fare period to 30 November ($67.30 from December to April, $50.90 at Saver times), or $8.10 for a bicycle. The Bruny Island Gateway cafe is about 120 m from the terminal and the Kettering Cafe about 320 m away.
