YUMIAO is a cat cafe at Shop 1 and 2, 18 O'Dea Avenue, Waterloo, next to Kennards Self Storage, where visitors spend timed sessions with the cafe's mostly rescued cats and get a free drink when they book online. A 45-minute session costs $25 on weekdays or $27.50 on weekends and holidays, and a one-hour weekend feeding session with cat treats is $35, as of October 2026. The entry fee is per person, including children, except babies carried the whole time. Children under 12 need adult supervision, and the cafe recommends children be at least toddlers who can follow instructions. Cats must not be picked up or chased, and there is no food in the cat lounge. Hours are Monday 10am to 7pm, Tuesday to Friday 10am to 5pm, and weekends 10am to 7pm (every day 10am to 7pm in school holidays), with last entry an hour before close.
