Featherdale Sydney Wildlife Park at 217 Kildare Road, Doonside, cares for about 2000 Australian native animals. Visitors can hand-feed wallabies and kangaroos in three walk-through habitats ($5 a cup), walk through the lorikeet aviary and see around 50 koalas. Keeper talks run through the day, and a Personal Koala Experience lets guests pat a koala with a zookeeper. Kids aged 3 to 12 can do the Wildlife Adventure Trail ($19.99), and kids 15 and under get free entry on their birthday. As of October 2026, entry is $49 for adults and $29 for children aged 3 to 15, with children 2 and under free. Tickets can be bought online (10% off) or at the gate. It is open every day from 8am to 5pm. The park is flat with paved paths suitable for prams and wheelchairs, and has the Treehouse Cafe, picnic areas and free parking.
