Wakehurst Golf Club is a members' golf club with a par 72 course in bushland on Upper Clontarf Street, Seaforth, overlooking Manly Dam. Juniors are welcome: the club runs junior clinics during school terms, with short-course and 9-hole competitions to help children progress to the full course, and individual lessons with its PGA professionals can be booked through the pro shop. The club's most recent junior clinic flyer (Term 4 2025) described four Wednesday clinics from 4:15pm to 5:15pm for boys and girls aged 8 and over, covering swing basics, putting, etiquette, range practice and course play, with clubs provided, for $60 per student; check with the club for current dates. Cadet membership for ages 12 to 16 is $220 a year. Public tee times run seven days and must be booked online, with 9 holes from $42 on weekdays as of October 2026. Club hire is available.
