Free council park with lawn, plaza and adventure playground opposite St Leonards station; play structure closed as of late September 2026.

Wadanggari Park is a Lane Cove Council park at 568 Pacific Highway, St Leonards, opposite St Leonards train station. It has 4,750 square metres of open space with a lawn, a plaza, quiet nooks and an adventure-style playground with a banksia-shaped play structure. The park opened in 2023 and is reached from the station through the refurbished Pacific Highway underpass, which has a lift to park and street level. Entry is free. The play structure has been closed since 10 July 2026 after repeated vandalism. As of the council's update of 25 September 2026 it remained closed with no reopening date set, so check the council website before visiting for the playground. The park connects to the St Leonards Library and to a 300-space public car park (entry via Christie Lane and Lithgow Street) with up to two hours free parking. Public toilets are in the adjoining development.
