Tingalpa Creek circuit, Venman Bushland National Park

Last updated October 2026

Venman Bushland National Park, about 40 km south of Brisbane city on West Mount Cotton Road, is one of the largest remaining areas of eucalypt forest in the coastal lowlands and important koala habitat. The signposted Tingalpa Creek circuit is a 2.5 km loop beside Tingalpa Creek (Grade 3, allow 1.5 hours), walked clockwise. Red-necked wallabies are often seen in the picnic area, and spring is the time for wildflowers. The picnic area has tables, toilets and wood barbecues (bring your own clean firewood); there are no rubbish bins, so take rubbish home. Camping, mountain biking and horse riding are not allowed.

Facts checked against the venue's own website on 23 October 2026.
