Single and double kayak hire on the still water of Enoggera Reservoir in D'Aguilar National Park, about 20 minutes from Brisbane CBD, next to Walkabout Creek Discovery Centre. The operator describes it as flat-water kayaking suited to beginners and kids, with no experience needed; hire includes a paddle, life jacket and safety briefing, and the minimum hire is 1 hour. Children must be at least 5; ages 5-8 ride in a double kayak with an adult, and 8-16 year olds need an adult on the water or watching from shore. Flush toilets are about 200 m away at the Discovery Centre. Stand-up paddleboards are also available. Kayaks run weekends 9am-3pm, with more days in school holidays.
