Plaza-style scooter and skate park at South Eveleigh, next to a playground and free-to-book sports courts, lit until 9pm.

South Eveleigh has a plaza-style scooter and skate park, designed by skate park specialists Convic, with custom brick transitions, steel elements, granite ledges and pavers inspired by the nearby historic locomotive yard. It received an Australian Institute of Landscape Architects award in the Urban Design category in 2020. Lights go out at 9pm. An outdoor gym sits next to the basketball court within the skate and scooter park. The precinct also has a large playground with a sandpit, a tree house and adventure play elements, a water fountain, BBQ areas, ping pong tables (bring your own balls and bats) and outdoor tennis, basketball and futsal courts that are free to book online. Toilets and a parents room are in the Community Building. Parking is at the 2 Central Avenue car park, with the first 2 hours free every day, as of October 2026.
