Surf life saving club at Quinns Beach, Mindarie. Its Woodside Nippers program is for children aged 5 to 13 (Under 6 to Under 13 age groups) and covers physical activity, surf awareness, beach safety and the skills to handle the surf, with the emphasis on fun. Sunday morning activities start at 8:50am and finish around 10am for Under 6 and Under 7 and around 11am for older groups. Children must be able to swim confidently (the club does not teach swimming) and complete a preliminary evaluation before water activities. A Woodside Nippers All Abilities program for young people aged 5 and over with diverse needs runs on Sunday mornings from 9:30am. Children under 13 join with at least one parent or guardian through the SLS Hub.
