Putney Park
Last updated October 2026
Putney Park on Pellisier Road is a foreshore park on the Parramatta River that the City of Ryde lists as one of its regional playgrounds. It has a large playground with water features, and a smaller playground at the southern end with equipment for young children; the council's parks guide also mentions a climbing net and the longest slide in the metropolitan area. There are barbecues, picnic facilities and shaded areas, four gazebos for hire, toilets and accessible toilets, parking, walking paths and the Parramatta Valley Cycleway, and the Putney Beach swim site opened in January 2025.
Facts checked against the venue's own website on 23 October 2026.
