The first playground is the larger one, with one of the tallest straight drop slides on the Gold Coast. The 5-swing structure is popular with the children, as well as the flying fox. The large sandpit is full of interactive elements including a car and climbing dome. Parklake is very popular on the weekends for birthday parties, with facilities including picnic tables, barbecues, a gazebo and a toilet block. Entry into the park and carpark is along Greenway Boulevard or at Andrew Baildon's Superfish Swim School. Access for people with disabilities includes pathway access throughout the parklands.
