Palm Beach

Palm Beach is a 2.3 km east-facing beach that curves between Barrenjoey Lighthouse and Little Head, and is known as the real Summer Bay from Home and Away. Palm Beach Rockpool (50 m) is at the southern end. Council lifeguards patrol from the last weekend of September until the last weekend of April, every day 9am-5pm and longer in the summer peak; swim between the flags. At the southern end, by the rockpool, the council lists change rooms, toilets and pay-and-display parking. Within a short walk (OpenStreetMap) are 2108 Espresso (cafe, about 120 m) and Palm Beach Fish & Chips (takeaway, about 400 m).
