North Cottesloe Surf Life Saving Club

Surf life saving club at North Cottesloe that runs the Woodside Nippers program, Surf Life Saving WA's junior surf program for children aged 5 to 12. Sessions are on Sunday mornings from November to March. Little Nippers (Under 6 to Under 9) start with play-based beach activities and games, basic beach safety, wading, dolphin diving, board paddling, beach sprinting and flags. Big Nippers (Under 10 to Under 13) cover surf education, flag races, beach sprints, surf swims, iron man and board events, depending on conditions. Every Nipper must sign up with a parent member through an SLS Hub family group. After Under 13, Nippers move into the club's Cadets program and can go on to gain their Surf Rescue Certificate.
