Mondo Nougat is a family nougat factory and café at 640 Great Northern Highway, Herne Hill, in the Swan Valley, less than 30 minutes from Perth. Visitors can watch the production team making nougat through a viewing window; on days with no production an educational video is shown instead. Free nougat samples are available at the counter. The website recommends visiting between 9:30am and 11:30am, Tuesday to Friday, for the best chance of seeing nougat being made, and suggests calling ahead if seeing production matters. The factory and café are open Tuesday to Sunday, 9:30am to 5pm, and closed Mondays, as of October 2026. The café sells homemade gelati, biscotti, cakes and hot chocolate. Booked curriculum-based school visits are offered from Year 3, and nougat masterclasses run during the year. The venue is wheelchair friendly. Prices for visits are not published on the website.
