Mokare Reserve in the Apsley estate, Mandogalup, has an adventure playground built by the estate's developer, featuring a 12-metre treehouse and slide along with a range of other play equipment and free-to-use barbecues. The reserve also has walking trails. The City of Kwinana lists it as Mokare Adventure Park at 4 Goldwyer Drive and takes bookings for its undercover barbecue area through its SpacetoCo facility booking page, which lists the area as available from 9am to 7pm, Monday to Sunday, and suited to kids' birthdays and playgroups. The City describes Mokare as a local-use park and, in reply to a visitor asking about toilets, suggested the City's destination parks (the Adventure Park playground or Honeywood Park) for restrooms, so plan for no public toilets on site.
