Melba's Chocolates & Confectionery runs a chocolate and confectionery factory at 22 Henry Street, Woodside, in the Adelaide Hills. Entry is free. Visitors take a self-guided tour: they can watch production from the viewing areas, browse the shop and try the free tastings in each production area. The coffee shop serves coffee, tea, hot chocolates and milkshakes, and there is indoor and outdoor seating. The factory is open every day from 9am to 4.30pm, including public holidays, and is closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day. Bookings are not taken for general visits; schools, OSHC groups and groups of 10 or more are asked to contact the factory first. The website says wheelchairs, mobility aids and prams can move around the factory, with accessible parking at the front and an accessible toilet. It also says the factory gets very busy at Easter and Christmas.
