Matrix Gym at 247 Brisbane Rd, Biggera Waters, near Harbour Town, teaches Muay Thai, boxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and MMA, run by head trainer Peter Kent. It runs children's Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes in two age groups, 5 to 8 (listed as 4 to 8 on the Muay Thai timetable) and 9 to 13. Classes cater for all fitness and skill levels. As of October 2026, a casual class costs $35, a one-week trial pass costs $20 and a 10-class pass costs $295 (valid six months); memberships are paid by direct debit, and a free 30-minute trial can be booked online. Muay Thai needs 10oz or 16oz gloves, and a gi is needed for Jiu-Jitsu (hire or buy at reception). The gym is open Monday to Friday 6am to 7:30pm and Saturday 6am to 10am, with on-site parking entered from Pine Ridge Road.
