MacMasters Beach Surf Life Saving Club

Last updated October 2026

Volunteer surf life saving club at MacMasters Beach on the Central Coast, established in 1945. Its Nippers junior activities program introduces children aged 5 to 14 to surf life saving, focused on play, participation and fun with an educational pathway to becoming a lifesaver. Every Sunday morning nippers assemble in the clubhouse at 9:15am in their age groups and hit the beach with their age manager at 9.30am. U6 and U7 nippers are given a cap; nippers in the water wear a pink vest. Board training is encouraged from Under 9s once swim competency is done, and club boards can be hired by members. A weekly parents' swim runs at 9am before nippers. Parents are encouraged to volunteer, and a BBQ runs after nippers.

Facts checked against the venue's own website on 23 October 2026.
