Council aquatic centre in Lilyfield with indoor pools, a mushroom pool and splash pad; child entry $7.10, under-5s free.

Leichhardt Park Aquatic Centre on Mary Street, Lilyfield is run by Inner West Council. Its outdoor 50m pool and dive pool closed on 29 June 2026 for Stage 2 construction and will stay closed for all of 2027; the dive pool will not return. The centre stays open: the indoor program pool runs daily 5.30am to 8pm, the hydrotherapy pool 6am to 8pm, and the mushroom pool and new splash pad open 9am to 6pm daily from 1 September to April. Learn to Swim lessons continue in the indoor pools, but squads are not available during the works. As of October 2026 pool entry is $7.10 for children 5 to 16 and free for under-5s with a paying adult, who must stay within arm's reach. The crèche runs Saturdays 8.30am to 11.30am. A shared untimed car park sits next to Leichhardt Oval.
