The Bowlo Leichhardt (Leichhardt Bowling Club) is a member-owned community club that has operated since 1923, with the Blue Ribbon Bistro, a beer garden, live music and lawn bowls. For families, it has the Kids' Corner, a fenced outdoor play area close to the bistro, and kids' birthday parties can be arranged with the club. As of October 2026 the club advertises Kids Eat Free on weekdays from 5pm to 6pm, with a free kids meal when you buy a main meal. Barefoot bowls costs $15 per person for 90 minutes, but the minimum age on the green is 16, so it is not a children's activity. Greens may close after rain.
