Hijinx Hotel Surfers Paradise is a set of themed challenge rooms, such as ball pits, a giant floor piano and a basketball room, where groups score points in each room within a set time. The rooms are designed for everyone over 5, and children must be with a responsible adult. Under 18s are allowed until 9pm Sunday to Thursday and 8pm Friday and Saturday. As of October 2026, five rooms cost $23 Monday to Wednesday and $26 Thursday to Sunday, ten rooms cost $30 or $46, and kids pay $16 for five rooms. Booking ahead is recommended because walk-ins are limited. Arrive 30 minutes before your session, as late arrivals cannot play, and wear clothes you can move in. The venue is on Level 1 of the Galaxy Centre, 3197 Surfers Paradise Boulevard, with paid parking on Cypress Avenue.
