Hartley's Crocodile Adventures is a wildlife park at Wangetti, about 40 minutes north of Cairns, open 8.30am to 5pm daily except Christmas Day and the Cairns Ironman highway closure. Entry as of October 2026 is $50 for adults, $25 for children aged 4 to 15 and $125 for a family of two adults and two children; children must be accompanied by an adult. Admission includes a 20-minute lagoon boat ride. Daily shows include crocodile farm tours at 9am and 1pm, snake shows at 10am and 2pm, crocodile feeding at 11am, the crocodile attack show at 3pm and a koala talk at 4.30pm; in Queensland school holidays a children's activity, The Backyard Aussies, runs at 1pm with no booking needed. There are 2,500 metres of paths, mostly wheelchair accessible, a playground, Lilies Bistro, baby change tables and free parking. Buy tickets on arrival.
