Harbord Bowling and Recreation Club is a lawn bowls club at Bennett St and Stirgess Ave, Curl Curl, offering barefoot bowls that the club says suits all ages and skill levels. Sessions run Tuesday to Sunday at 11am, 1pm and 3pm, plus 5pm during daylight saving. As of October 2026, a session costs $10 per child, $20 per non-member adult and $15 per member adult, including rink hire, bowls and equipment, and staff brief players on how to bowl. Play in bare feet, thongs or sandals; non-members sign in on arrival or join as social members for $10 a year. Bookings are made online through the club website. JC's Pizza at the club serves Italian food including kids meals, with indoor and outdoor dining and a grassed beer garden, open Tuesday to Friday from 4pm and weekends from 12.30pm. The club also hosts barefoot bowls birthday parties by enquiry.
