Short, free walk through coastal rainforest to the 1872 Fingal Head Lighthouse and headland on Lighthouse Parade, Fingal Head NSW.

Fingal Head Lighthouse is on Lighthouse Parade at Fingal Head, in the Tweed Shire just south of the Queensland border. It is reached by a short walk through remnant coastal rainforest to the headland. The lighthouse was built of stone in 1872 and sits on one of the most easterly points of Australia. The tower itself is closed to the public, but the walk and headland are free to visit. Fingal Head is also home to the Tweed's own Giant's Causeway, rock pillars formed when lava flows reached the sea, and Visit The Tweed lists birdwatching among the area's features. The NSW Government page says the site welcomes people with access needs and suggests contacting the organiser for details.
