Last updated October 2026
A 1.1 km return walk (allow about 30 minutes, Grade 3) in the Joalah section of Tamborine National Park. The track starts in wet eucalypt forest under tall flooded gums and drops into cool rainforest with crow's nest and staghorn ferns. The rock pool and basalt face are glow-worm and platypus habitat, and access to the pool and surrounding area is not permitted at any time (penalties apply). The Dapsang Drive car park has a toilet block and large-vehicle parking but no picnic facilities. A short 400 m track from Eagle Heights Road links to cafes and shops. Camping is not allowed in the national park.
Facts checked against the venue's own website on 23 October 2026.
