Coogee Beach Reserve, part of Woodman Point Regional Park, has a swimming enclosure next to Coogee Jetty, about 300 metres long and 75 metres wide, which the City of Cockburn keeps in place all year and inspects regularly, especially after storms. Large marine life may get in while it is being repaired, so watch for signs on site. Up to three pontoons are out in summer, one inside the enclosure. Coogee Beach Surf Life Saving Club patrols on Sunday mornings (8am to 12pm) from 18 October 2026, then on Saturdays, Sundays and summer public holidays from December, with afternoon shifts to 3pm or 4pm until early March and the season ending 21 March 2027.
