Free national park waterfall on Tamborine Mountain with a short stroller-friendly lookout walk, picnic areas and rock pools below.

Cedar Creek Falls is in the Cedar Creek section of Tamborine National Park, reached by Cedar Creek Falls Road. Near the start of the track are two large picnic areas in tall eucalypt forest, with a picnic shelter, gas barbecues, toilets. A 500m return track (about 15 minutes, Grade 1) leads to Cedar Creek Falls lookout over the gorge and waterfalls, and is suitable for strollers and wheelchairs with assistance. From the lookout, a 1.1km return track (about 30 minutes, Grade 3) with many steps goes down to the rock pools; this part is not suitable for strollers. Swimming is allowed only in the permitted rock pools, which are not patrolled; some pools and the area above the falls are restricted, and children must be supervised at all times. The section is open 6am to 8pm from 1 October to 31 March and 6am to 6pm from 1 April to 30 September, and the gate is locked at night. Entry is free. As of October 2026 parking is limited and fills quickly on weekends.
