Carrick Hill is a historic house museum with 100 acres of garden, park and bushland at 46 Carrick Hill Drive, Springfield. It is open Wednesday to Sunday 10am to 4:30pm. General entry with audio tour is adult $20 and concession $18, and children under 15 are free. A guided house museum tour runs daily at 11:30 and 2:30pm, with under 15s $3. The free Storybook Trail is a short parkland walk past a Hobbit's home and a sculpture of Wilbur the pig.
