The giant inflatable bouncy pillow is part of the Washington Waters Playground in Broadwater Parklands, Southport, opposite Australia Fair. The council describes this playground as more suited to older children; it also has a flying fox and an accessible Liberty Swing. As of October 2026 the bouncy pillow is open 7am to 6pm from September to November, 7am to 7pm in December and January, 7am to 6pm in February and March, and 7am to 5.30pm from April to August, and hours may change with the weather. Broadwater Parklands also has the Peninsula Playground for all ages, the Adventure Play pirate ship for younger children, the Rockpools water playground with lifeguards on duty, and a netted swimming enclosure (not patrolled) near the Washington Waters Playground with toilets close by. There are grassed areas, shelters, electric barbecues and cafés.
