Eagles Rugby (Gold Coast Rugby Union Football Club) is a rugby union club founded in 1965, based at James Overell Park, 65 Brighton Parade, Southport, with junior and senior teams. For the 2026 season the club fielded boys' teams in non-competition Under 9 and Under 11 grades and competition Under 13, Under 15 and Under 17 grades, with girls playing alongside boys in the younger grades. Younger grades use modified Rugby Australia formats; Under 13 to Under 17 play full 15-a-side rugby. 2026 registration fees were $321.50 for Under 8 to Under 12 and $350 for Under 14 to Under 17, including all governing-body levies. Registration is through the Rugby Xplorer app or website, and the club accepts Play On! vouchers and ZipPay. The club suggests new families contact a coach and attend a couple of training sessions before registering.
