Bold Park - Zamia Trail

A rare pocket of real bushland inside the city - over 400 hectares with 15km of trails, native wildflowers in season, and around 90 recorded bird species. The Zamia Trail is the longest route through the park and genuinely family-friendly despite a few hilly sections; families with younger kids can just walk a shorter chunk of it rather than the whole loop. For an easier option, the boardwalk at the top of Reabold Hill and the nearby Ocean Lookout are both short, flat, and still deliver a real payoff - Reabold Hill is the highest natural point on the Swan Coastal Plain, with ocean and city views.
