Bankstown Sports Hockey Club, founded in 1947, is based at The Crest hockey facility on Mount Street, Georges Hall, which has a water-based synthetic turf and a grass field. The club fields mixed junior teams from U9 to U17 in the local Sydney East (SEHA) and Sydney-wide Metro competitions, as well as men's and women's senior teams. It runs coaching clinics and free Come and Try sessions so new players can try the sport before registering. Registration is done online through the club website. As of October 2026, the club component of the junior fee (18 and under) is $50 for the 2026 season, on top of the Hockey Australia, Hockey NSW and SEHA fees paid at registration. The club is a registered Active Kids provider. Summer social hockey runs on Wednesday nights from 7 October to 11 November 2026, at $10 per player for the 7 weeks.
