Hockey club at Jubilee Oval, Glebe, with Saturday Minkey sessions for ages 4-10 and junior teams from Under 10 to Under 18.

Glebe District Hockey Club, founded in 1931, is based at its clubhouse at Jubilee Oval, Glebe, and also uses The Crescent multi-sport turf. It welcomes juniors aged 4 to 18 of all abilities. Children aged 4-10 can start with Minkey, a beginner skills program on Saturday mornings 9:30-10:30am from April to September at Jubilee Oval or The Crescent; there are no uniform or skill requirements, and the club can provide sticks. Mixed girls and boys teams run from Under 10 to Under 18 in the Sydney East Hockey Association competition, with an Under 8 round robin at Jubilee Oval on Saturday mornings from Term 2. The season runs from late March (late April for U8s and Minkey) to mid-September. Shin pads and mouthguards are mandatory. Registrations usually open in late January or February, and Minkey players can join any time during the season. Fees are not published on the website.
