The Diddy, the Longueville Sporting Club at 243 Longueville Road, Longueville, is a community club founded in 1938 with a bistro run by Lusso Kitchen serving Australian pub food with Italian and Thai dishes. The club has two outdoor greens with picnic tables and umbrellas; its website describes the Bottom Green as a place to have a drink while the kids roam. The bistro has a kids' menu (chicken nuggets and chips, fish bites and chips, butter and parmesan spaghetti, or penne bolognese) at $17, each with gelato or a slushie for dessert, as of October 2026. The bistro is closed on Mondays and opens for lunch and dinner Tuesday to Sunday; club hours start at 4pm on Monday and 11am on other days. Book a table online, but same-day bookings are by phone.
