Waikiki and Warnbro Beach

Last updated October 2026

The City of Rockingham says the secluded, largely untouched sand and wide coastal views make Waikiki and Warnbro beaches popular with families, and lists Warnbro and Waikiki Foreshore among its safe, calm, shallow-water swimming beaches. A seasonal swimming pontoon sits in Warnbro Sound off Waikiki Foreshore (Safety Bay Road/Malibu Road) in 2.5 m of water, from the last week of November to the end of March. The City's pages do not mention lifesaver patrols here. OpenStreetMap shows public toilets about 210 m, showers about 50 m, BBQs about 300 m from the sand.
