Small horse riding farm near Braidwood NSW offering riding days, lessons from age 5 and girls' overnight camps; lessons $50.

The Saddle Camp is a horse riding farm at 1040 Bombay Road, Braidwood NSW, run by instructor Helen Faulkner, with two ponies and two horses. Day activities, open to girls and boys, include Horsemanship Days (catching, grooming, saddling, a group lesson, gymkhana games and pony-and-cart driving), Gymkhanas, Show Days and trail rides. Overnight camps from slumber parties to 4-day camps are for up to 4 girls, recommended from age 6 (slumber party) or ages 8 to 13 (longer camps). As of October 2026, a Horsemanship Day costs $243 per rider (Saturdays and Tuesdays, 9am to 4pm, maximum 4 riders), a Gymkhana $170, a Slumber Party $297 and a Weekend Camp $600. Private 30-minute riding lessons are $50 for riders aged 5 and over under 70kg, and the after-school Saddle Club is $40 per afternoon in NSW school terms.
