Temptation Sailing runs wild dolphin tours from the Marina Pier at Holdfast Shores, Glenelg, on Temptation, a 58-foot sailing catamaran for up to 50 passengers. On the Wild Dolphin Tour, marine biologist guides talk about the local Indo-Pacific bottlenose and short-beaked common dolphins. Passengers can either watch from the 360-degree front deck or swim, lying in a net between the bows or holding a line off the back, with wetsuits and snorkel gear supplied. Children under 9 cannot swim but can watch from the boat, and infants travel free. As of October 2026, the Wild Dolphin Watch is $92 adult (16+) and $82 child (3-15), and the Wild Dolphin Swim is $154 adult and $144 child (9-15). Tours run from September to April only, departure times vary, and trips can be cancelled in bad weather. Boarding starts 15 minutes before departure. There is underground parking at Marina Pier, and the site notes there is little shade on board.
