Tallowwood Park is a large parkland beside a lake with sheltered picnic areas, a fenced children’s playground, a small bike/scooter track and two tennis courts. The lake is popular with walkers, and a Park Run is held here. The children’s playground has the popular ninja or parkour style equipment, as well as traditional equipment suited to younger children. Access for people with disabilities includes pathways throughout the green space, disabled parking spaces and an accessible toilet. Council-listed facilities include barbecues, a bicycle track, a boardwalk, an accessible toilet, a dog off-leash area, a drinking fountain, picnic shelters, picnic tables, a playground, toilets and a walking track. Within a short walk are Cafe Two (about 198 m) and Highland Reserve Convenience Store supermarket (about 183 m).
