Sydney Bowmen is an archery club at Latham Park, Moverly Road, Coogee. Beginners can try archery through its Come and Try program on Sundays from 10.15am to 12.15pm, which runs except on the last Sunday of each month and public holiday weekends. As of October 2026 it costs $10 for juniors aged 8 to 18 and $20 for adults, including all equipment. Children must be at least 8, and parents must stay with them throughout. Bookings are required through TryBooking for up to 4 people; larger groups and children's parties must book at least 2 weeks ahead by emailing the club secretary. Fees are paid on the day by bank transfer or cash. Wear enclosed shoes and weather protection. After the introductory lesson, archers can return as casuals up to 4 times before joining; junior membership is $136 a year.
