Saints Hockey Club, established in 1967, is a field hockey club based in the Jeff Pezzutti Park precinct on the south side of Cairns, where it has its own clubhouse and two grass fields under lights. The club describes itself as family friendly, with members ranging from as young as four through to Masters. Junior divisions for boys and girls are Hockey Heroes, J3, J2 and J1, covering all age groups up to and including under 18s, alongside senior A, B and C grade and Masters teams. Registrations for the 2026 season are open. Registering involves three steps: register with Hockey Queensland/Hockey Australia online (covers compulsory insurance), register and pay Cairns Hockey Association fees through its Majestri portal, and later pay a Saints invoice for club, turf training and team nomination fees. Fee amounts, training days and season dates are not published. Junior enquiries go to [email protected].
