Rushcutters Bay Park Tennis Centre has five courts in Rushcutters Bay Park at 7 Waratah Street, affiliated with Tennis Australia and Tennis NSW. Kids can join Tennis Australia's Hot Shots program, which uses modified courts, smaller racquets and lower-bouncing balls, with stages from toddlers to early teens, plus Hot Shots round-robin tournaments. Kinder Tennis is a 30-minute parent-and-child class for ages 3.5 to 4.5 on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings. School holiday camps run for ages 4 to 14, with before and after care to 6pm. As of October 2026, court hire costs $31.20 per hour on weekdays 7am to 5pm and $38.30 per hour on weekday evenings and weekends, booked online up to 3 weeks ahead. A free trial is offered for kids' classes, and Active Kids vouchers are accepted. The centre and cafe open from 7am daily. Parking is along Waratah Street.
